Training Objectives
The Essure training program is a comprehensive course designed to provide you with information and skills necessary to select appropriate patients, competently perform Essure procedures and manage technical issues related to the placement of Essure microinserts for permanent birth control.

 

Requirements

  • Complete the initial one hour didactic portion of the training program via either an online or on-site presentation
  • Identify and schedule 2-3 patients for the Essure procedure
  • Contact your local Essure representative once patients are scheduled
  • Complete a hands on exercise with the Essure system by a Conceptus-designated preceptor
  • Complete initial procedures under the observation of a Conceptus-designated preceptor until competency in performing the Essure procedure is established, typically 3-5 cases
