Partnering with Conceptus
Conceptus would like to partner with physician customers to educate potential patients about the Essure procedure. We have developed the Joint Education Program.
The program is designed to share equally with participating physicians the expenses associated with specific outreach tactics—ranging from patient letters to radio advertising campaigns.
Minimum Program qualifications
-
Physicians must be “signed-off” to perform Essure procedures
-
Customer account must be in good standing with Conceptus and the medical community*
-
A majority of Essure procedures need to be in the office setting with minimal anesthesia, which is most similar to the clinical trial experience
-
Physicians must be willing to follow all parameters of the program (including using the Conceptus designated vendor); these parameters are designed to meet OIG, FDA, HIPAA and other governmental agency requirements
Program may have limited availability in certain areas even if customer meets minimum qualifications. Please contact your local Essure representative to express interest and receive for more information.
*Eligibility for participation in any co-marketing or co-education programs will be suspended for one year if the physician is not in good standing. Documentation confirming reinstatement to good standing is required for reconsideration.
Essure Physician Locator
The physician locator feature is a benefit that is provided to users of the Essure procedure so that patients and referring advance healthcare practitioners may find a trained Essure physician that will suit their needs (geographic location, procedure experience etc.).
In order to be included in the physician locator feature, an Essure trained physician must be designated as an active Essure user. This is to ensure high quality service and optimal clinical outcome to potential patients. In order to be identified as a qualified Essure physician, a minimum of one Essure procedure must be performed every 6-8 weeks.
Physicians that are designated as an EAP partner and/or perform the Essure procedure in an office setting are prioritized in the list of practices that appear after a specific geographic search is entered.
